Researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals are invited to submit abstracts for NCCR 2026 and compete for the Dr Wu Lien-Teh Research Awards, recognising excellence in original clinical and public health research

Who Can Submit?
Original research not previously published or presented
Clinical studies including observational, interventional, surveys, case series, and case reports
Abstracts must be written in English
Multiple abstract submissions are allowed
At least one author must register for the conference
For studies conducted in Malaysia’s Ministry of Health (MOH) facilities or using MOH data, both NMRR ID and MREC approval are to be provided during submission as well

Submission deadline: 19 March 2026, 11:59 pm (MYT)
Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted
Acceptance notification: 9 April 2026
AI tools may be used only for grammar/language editing, literature search, and reference formatting; AI must not be used for content writing, data analysis, interpretation, or conclusions.
Abstract Format
Maximum 250 words
Structured format: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion / Conclusion
Title in Title Case, concise and descriptive
Authors’ full names only (no titles or degrees)
Include institution, state, and country
No tables, figures, graphs, or references
Abstract must be submitted by the presenting author

Young Investigator Award (Oral Presentation)
First author must be the presenting author and aged 40 years or below
Top 5 abstracts will be shortlisted
Shortlisted candidates will present orally to judges during the conference
Winners receive cash prizes and certificates
Best Scientific Poster Award (Poster Presentation)
Shortlisted posters will be selected from accepted abstracts
Shortlisted authors will present their posters to judges during the conference
Winners receive cash prizes and certificates
Judges’ decisions are final.
Poster Presentation
All abstracts that are accepted will be presented as e-posters.
Poster guidelines will be emailed after acceptance
Poster submission deadline: 24 April 2026, 12:00 pm (MYT)
Late poster submission will be considered withdrawal from the competition
